First of all, the UI (user interface) looks very different. It sort of reminds me of a more Mac look (i am a PC user obviously haha), with muted grays and a simplistic layout. At first i didnt like it, but i was able to set up my photoshop to pretty much the same layout as i had in CS2.
So now the good stuff
PS now supports OPEN GL, meaning, it uses your videocard to supplement your graphics rendering. This allows photoshop to now "rotate" your canvas in real time to paint those akward angels, much like painter does, zoom in at any % without getting pixelated (remember how at 33.33% zoom it would have very jagged edges?).
Another feature im loving is, when you select the Zoom tool (default Z) and click and hold on the canvas, it slowly zooms in in a continuous fashion which is GREAT. AND if you zoom in close enough, it loads up a pixel grid which allows you to see each individual pixel which is great for me as a game designer (where im frequently working with pixelated textures)
anyway... *end rant* im gonna go back to playing with these new CS4 tools!
THIS IS A MUST BUY (or download haha lets be honest here) photoshop addition!

If cats always land on their feet, and toast always lands butter side up... Then what happens when you strap toast to the back of a cat and dropped it?
